Dry wall screws are made especially for fixing drywall or plasterboard to timber partitions or joists. Dry wall screws are incredibly strong and are one of the strongest screws that you can get for the thickness of the shank. They are black phosphate coated and have a bugle head which makes them less likely to tear the paper on the drywall.
